In 2009 my Casual Poet strips were less frequent, but I started spending a lot more time on them, often using stand-ins for myself and incorporating bits of writings by authors I had been reading that mirrored my own experiences. These were the last autobiographical comics I drew until beginning the (still unfinished) “Reading War & Peace“ project.
